Our Review

This is a beautiful hotel with a warm Welsh feel to it. Rooms are well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently situated for the city centre park and ride service, making it an ideal base to explore the city.

The Copthorne Hotel Cardiff is just 6.5 km from the city centre and 20 minutes from Cardiff International Airport. Also nearby are the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay and Cardiff International Arena. Its guestrooms offer modern comfort in a traditional setting, decorated in warm colours ensuring a relaxed and welcome feel. Please note that the hotel is fully non-smoking, including all bedrooms.
The hotel’s award-winning Raglans restaurant lays particular emphasis on sourcing local suppliers for the freshest Welsh produce, with particular focus on produce in-season. Additionally the hotel is Wales’ original home of Dining Theatre. Enjoy one of the live musical theatre productions accompanied by a delicious three-course meal and coffee. There’s also an informal and relaxing, non-smoking bar with lakeside views, in which to enjoy a light snack or simply a drink. It’s open from 9.00am - 11.00pm.
